Smith Rock State Park Elopement Location Bend Oregon
Smith Rock State Park is one of Bend Oregon’s most popular Elopement Wedding Locations. Probably because the views are so stunning, once you pull into the parking lot you will instantly be in awe of this natural landscape. You feel like you left Oregon and ended up somewhere in Arizona or Utah. Smith Rock is open to the public (for a $5 parking fee) so if your wedding is small enough it’s the perfect backdrop for an elopement or small wedding.
2024 Update
Things to know for planning your Smith Rock State Park elopement in 2024. All Ceremonies must be held at the Amphitheater area. Ceremonies are not allowed anywhere else in the park. Portraits are allowed on trails. If you have any other questions about weddings you can contact the State Park Manager to reserve the amphitheater. If you choose to have your wedding at the amphitheater you can have up to 50 guests and the reservation site can be found HERE.

Erin and Geoff had a beautiful wedding at Smith Rock, a stunning location in Central Oregon that resembles a miniature Grand Canyon. Surrounded by their loved ones – parents, siblings, and a few close friends – they celebrated their special day amidst the breathtaking scenery.
Smith Rock, located in Central Oregon, is a popular destination for couples looking for a unique and picturesque setting to exchange vows. With its striking rock formations and awe-inspiring views, it has become a go-to location for elopements and intimate weddings.
As a photographer, I had the honor of capturing Erin and Geoff’s love story against the backdrop of Smith Rock. The natural beauty of the surroundings provided the perfect canvas for their heartfelt moments and genuine connection.

Winter Smith Rock Elopement
Chelsea and Andy planned their elopement in 4 days. They knew they wanted their ceremony at Smith Rock, but also wanted some photos in the snow. Luckily we were able to drive up towards Mt. Bachelor and where there was plenty of snow.

Fall Smith Rock Elopement
Sarah and Jan planned a three week trip through the West Coast and Oregon. They reached out to me to help them plan a place to share their vows while in Bend. These two were the sweetest couple and I was fortunate that I was able to meet them and I was able to be a part of their special day.
