Big Lake Campground Elopement
Big Lake Oregon Campground Elopement
There’s something inexplicably romantic about elopements, isn’t there? The idea of two people committing themselves to each other in an intimate, secluded setting away from the noise and bustle of the world is enough to make anyone swoon. And when it comes to finding the perfect spot for a romantic elopement, Big Lake in Oregon is undoubtedly one of the best options out there.
The stunning vistas of Mt Washington set the stage for a wedding that was nothing short of spectacular. This wonderful couple, Caitlin and Megan, chose to host their ceremony right at the edge of the lake, with the water gently lapping against the shore. It was a peaceful location that provided the perfect ambiance for a heartfelt exchange of vows and promises.
As I looked back through the photos from their special day, I was struck by the beauty of it all. The way the sun cast its golden glow over everything, the contrast of the blue sky against the emerald green trees, and the pure joy radiating from every single person present – it was a feast for the senses.
One of the things that truly stood out to me about Caitlin and Megan’s elopement was the attention to detail. The couple had rented out three campgrounds and built a little wedding venue, complete with twinkle lights strung up overhead and rustic wooden accents throughout. It was clear that they had put a lot of thought and care into creating the perfect atmosphere for their special day.
As a photographer, I felt incredibly honored to be a part of their celebration. From capturing the sweet moments between the two brides to snapping candid shots of their guests laughing and enjoying themselves, I knew that I was a witness to something truly magical.
Whether you’re planning an elopement or a grand affair, I would encourage you to consider the beauty of Big Lake in Oregon. The stunning natural beauty of the area, combined with the intimate setting of a campground elopement, make it the perfect spot for a romantic, unforgettable wedding. And, of course, if you need a photographer who knows how to capture the magic of the moment, well…you know where to find me.
